Beginners

Selby Archers welcome new members, experience or beginners.

Before being able to join us, every person must have completed a Beginners Course. The cost of the course is £35. This is to be paid on the first night of your course.

These are run in 6 weekly 2 hour sessions, and the lessons learned on the course will allow any person to shoot safely and responsibly.

The two main aspects of the course are safety on and off the shooting line and also how to shoot a bow in a comfortable way, both of which will maximise the enjoyment which you will get out of archery.

For insurance reasons no person under 8 years of age can take part in a Beginners Course.

To put your name on the waiting list for a Beginners Course please email our , in the subject box please type "Beginners Course". Give the name, address and contact number for each person who wishes to attend a course.

If a person is under 18 please indicate this, and give their date of birth.

Note: There is currently a waiting list for courses. There may be a wait of a few months until there is a space on a course.

Experienced Archers

Selby Archers welcomes archers of all abilities, from just beginners to professionals!
Fees: Seniors £95
         Juniors £30
         Students (18+) £55
You will be required to show that you are competent with the rules and safety of archery before being allowed to join
